This panel discussed disarmament and nonproliferation initiatives involving fissile materials.

The current twelve multilateral approaches to the Nuclear Fuel Cycle were presented and compared from different point of views, including the IAEA's fuel bank and the Russian initiative in Angarsk.

This issue was discussed from the suppliers, and customer point of view. An example of a new-coming  state seeking for its first nuclear power plant was showed and analyzed.

The idea of regional enrichment centers, and in particular of a Latin American one was also presented as of bigger chances of success.

The future of the moratorium on fissiles as well as the potential of a Fissile Materials (Cutoff) Treaty were also assessed.
