 | |  | | | | | Special Issue: Countdown to the International Seminar  The Nonproliferation for Global Security Foundation (NPSGlobal) and the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI) will host on October 29 and 30, in Rio de Janeiro, the International Seminar "Nuclear Nonproliferation and Disarmament: The Future of the NPT".
This event will be the first of this type, carried out in Latin America. The Program will count on a stellar roster of speakers worldwide. It is expected an ample exchange of ideas and views regarding topics of maximum global and regional interest. The debate will be around the current nuclear disarmament and nonproliferation regime, its present and its future. Impacts on Latin America will be analyzed by Latin American experts, while speakers from other regions will also bring their different perspectives. The result will be an enriching environment of ideas and views, from which the audience (policy makers and participants in general) will be able to take advantage.

| Details on the event The Seminar will take place in the beautiful city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It comes to life just a few months before the 2010 NPT Review Conference, next May, during a season where nuclear disarmament and nonproliferation issues are intensely debated worldwide.
